Stromness sailing

A fine, albeit unsharp, Willie Hourston photo from 1932. I've been told the nearer boat is my maternal grandfather's dinghy 'Speedwell' with himself at the helm. He was Charles Smith, retired NLB depot manager ('Lighthouse Piermaster') and former deep-sea sailing-ship bosun. Aged about 76 at the time of the photo.
I think this must have been shot from another boat - which could account for the blur.
