John Rae Newsagent is to the right of this close as we look at it.

This is the close between Rae's paper shop and the OTE on Victoria Street. The only significant change is a fairly conspicuous metal staircase which leads to the first floor flat above Rae's, otherwise it's still picturesque... not quite so ivy-clad, but still picturesque!
