Tom Kent cartoon

Another Tom Kent cartoon bought at the same time as the other one (picture #23691) so presumably also done about 1930. Also in bad condition. Possibly originally signed at bottom right.
The inscription is why I bought it but I think it was added later by someone else. It reads "Old Eunson leaves Old Sabie behind!" I believe the late Edwin, my father's cousin, was known as Old Eunson (amongst other things no doubt) but he was about the last person in the world I could imagine on a motorbike.
Does anyone have suggestions either as to what is going on in the picture or to what event the inscription refers?

Comments:
I can only wonder, once again, what on earth are these cartoons drawn on? Old as they are, they'd surely be in better condition if drawn on decent paper. A fine cartoon in any case, even without knowing the 'back story'.

I have had a closer look at the back this morning, they have both been glued in to something at some point and that is why the corners are torn, and both have been folded as well, possibly before the drawing was done, certainly a long time ago. The material is some kind of thick brown paper not card, but low quality. The white bubbles on the surface were not there when I bought them which is rather worrying, I need to get them mounted and behind glass again as soon as I can. It's a pity about the condition, because they are not really that old, only about 80 years ago or thereabouts.
