I am nearly certain that the man standing on the right of the four men in the middle is none other than Mr Sinclair Ross of Kirkwall who,if memory serves me correctly became Head Postmaster eventually.
On Mr Ross's right side is (I think), Mr R.M.Wilson of Kirkwall, a very popular Scout Leader in his day.
