This is my great grandmother (Ann Lyon)'s sister (Mary Sinclair's) family, the Sutherlands.
Mary Sinclair Lyon married Samuel Sutherland in 1877. the LYONS were from the Graemsay area.
Jane Ann Sutherland is Samuel and Mary's daughter
unsure of the year on this picture.

And this photo was taken at the old steading at Sandside - my henny hoose is now in the building you can just see the wall of to the right.

Hello Richard as the Graemsay photos are from my mothers album I should know the year, It may be
Clara Ritch on the left who was born in 1912 but possibly Gldys Ritch born 1918 and my mother Annabella mary Ritch in the middle was born in 1918 and Jane Ann Sutherland was born in 1893 so I think its about 1926
