I was briefly in Dacca, East Bengal at Christmas 1945 when the lads of Orkney T A came out of Burma. I remember Jim Dowel and Bulldog Robinson, a Linklater from Stenness and others I forget. I was Royal Signals stationed at Chittagong. We had an enjoyable evening with a few bottles of the very strong Black Horse beer.
