Looking at this picture,Steven,I would hazard a guess and say the photo was taken from the shore at Cromwell Road looking out over Kirkwall Bay onto the Navy Fleet in the 1st.,World War. Kirkwall Bay was used as an Anchorage then and the Bairns'clothes would put them in this period of time.Added by Phil Brough.
