Yes, I nearly got knocked down there yesterday. I was halfway across, completely forgot to look, and a car was coming down.

Can't agree I'm afraid Sandy. It was a daft idea to make it one way. It was pushed through by a minority who just don't want to admit that the site is completely unsuitable for a bus station.

I agree with Whassigo. After all, the street has been there forever, and the tourist office and bus station should be elsewhere. The one way system didnt stop some folk anyway!!!

If they want a simple and cost effective solution to help a bus safely turn out of the station, try a double yellow line down the south side of the street. It would have been a much cheaper option than making it one way and changing it back to 2 way.

Yellow lines would make no difference,the bus stances should be pointing towards fire station not towards junction road, thats from a resident of West Castle Street! Where would we park then? Simple solution would be to never have put bus station there in first place,
