I'm not sure what this occasion was, I only have cadets '94 written on the back of the photo, but I do remember it being bitterly cold!!

What a great weekend we had. Saturday night, beat retreat by RM band followed by cocktails on HMS Orkney then recption in the Commodore by OIC followed by dance in Legion. Sunday, wake up to snow and think, should I be somewhere? Oh heck, parade. Meet at pier and parade to St Magnus then to Lord Lt's at Grindaly for drinks. 1500 to Cathederal for organ receital. Home for quick kip and then to RBL for more dancing. Best memory of night was RM Band doing their own type of dance and clearing the floor to great applause, then back to RNXS HQ to finish off the bar. A/O Alan Disbury in foreground. A/O Billy Sabiston in wheelchair. Bus in background was for marine band.
