Just thought I would add that there is one person missing from this photograph - Albert Clark. He was off school the day that it was taken. Is it really 40 years ago since this was taken and I am still at North Walls School!

A blast from the past!, Linda and Cecil sutherland...very cute!, darlings of Mavis.

Is that the same Albert Clark who drove the school minibus from the North Pier for donkeys years?
Added by Jo Jones (nee Richards) on 27 July 2009
Sometimes it takes a while to get a reply... Yes, Albert Clark (Snr) drove the school bus for years with Albert jnr (missing from the photo) taking over and is still driving the school bus from Hoy to North Walls.

Actually had a verbal reply from Albert (Jnr) when we were visiting the Martello tower last August!

Hi Jo, I think you were my last music teacher before I left school in 1981, I remember you gave 100 lines to do because I wouldnt sing a verse of a song about courting Molly Brown. Ah happy days.

Indeed I was Keith!
Now semi - retired (Deputy Head & Director of Music). Still remember the entire school singing their hearts out in performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph & the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (followed by a ceilidh)!
