I've just come across this for the first time. What a fine photograph Vivienne! Technically spot-on as well as interesting and informative. An example of how sharpness from front to back (if one had the time one could count the grains of sand) and directional lighting can turn a 'record shot' into a 'picture'. Belated thanks for posting.
