These were the attendees and instructors at a youth club course which was held in the old Kirbuster School in Orphir. I have estimted the date at 1968 but it would not be any more than one year either side:

Middle Row: Lawrence Tait (St Andrews); ?? (Stenness); Brian Cormack (Holm); Ian Gibson (Kirkwall); Bruce Davidson (Stromness);
Front Row: Ann Fiddler (Deerness); Marylin Swanney (Orphir); Moira Bain (Sandwick); Phylis Flett (Harray); Eileen Groundwater (Stromness); Gladys Sinclair (Stenness).
Can anyone identify the young man second from left in the second row? I think he came from the Stenness Youth Club.

I remember it well!!! That's Michael Thompson from Stenness. OYCA was a great organisation at that time. Many happy memories.
