This picture was taken in Maxwell's Boat Yard off Great Western Road which is now "Scarths Centre". The "Barabel" being ready for towing out. The man standing up at the rudder is Archie Laughton, and the man on the Fordson Major Tractor is Harry Garrioch. Harry was latterly a Policeman. "Barabel" was being towed to Hatston Slip for launching. I think this was the last year she was kept in the yard which was sold on to John Scarth Engineers.
