This is a pic of the Orkney football team in the first Junior Inter-County games up in Shetland in 1947. They won 3 - 1.

Could it it be Ronald Wilson and Charlie Clouston first and second from the left top row.Bottom row in the centre Jim Donaldson and Leslie Flett on his left

We were pretty sure that the first chap from the left in the back row was Ronnie Wilson, right enough (you can fairly see where Lugsy heired them fae - sorry, Ewan!). Centre front, we also thought was one of the Donaldsons, probably Jim. Phil, if you're thinking it's Leslie Flett from Nistaben in Harray (who I'm sure did represent Orkney against the owld enemy) it's certainly not him. He's my uncle, and I'm sure that either mother or I would have recognised him! If you're thinking of another chap... well, you could well be right!
