The Inn, Holm

I think the large building is "The Inn" in the village in Holm which is now a B&B

St Mary's in Holm I think. The big house with the small round window is "The Inn", just round the corner as you come in from the Kirkwall direction.
The garage shown is now a house.

I don't think so Phil. I couldn't spot that house with the little circular window there today. It has been suggested to me that this could be in St Mary's, Holm.

Its actually just round the corner from the Strond in Holm at the west end of the front next to the Inn. Marwicks had a garage where the Strond is now.

This is indeed The Inn & cycle shop in 1938. My mother Mary Marwick & aunt Sarah Armstrong are standing in the passage, the cars are a Daimler & an Oldsmobile. The pump with petrol @ 1/8p a gall. Janet Mair is one of the girls walking past
