"As a companion to picture #1718, attached is pic of the pier below Maltbarn, Eday taken 2 years ago. My Dad, Ernie Wishart, who lived at Maltbarn for several years looking after his grandmother & others in the family, said it was the only pier he knew of that was built with the stones in the upright position but that most of it has washed away now.
