'The vintage Shetland fishing boat ‘Pilot Us’ pictured leaving Kirkwall a week or so ago. The boat belongs to Shetland Museum and it is fine to see it still on the sea in excellent condition. I hope if and when we get our boat museum the boats will be kept on the water and as ‘moving displays‘ as much as possible. On this trip she accompanied the Burra boys who rowed between Shetland and Orkney for charity.'
