The date for this photo is very approximate. Rear right is John William Wishart [son of John Wishart & Betsy Smith] who was born 1864 in Stromness. His father taught in various schools in Orkney so the family moved about a bit and the children were born in different parishes. The family eventually settled in Kirkwall. Can anyone help identify the 3 other lads in this old photo? All 4 appear to be wearing the same style of jacket - possibly a uniform? Could this be the uniform of the Postal Service or similar? Any help appreciated.
