Long Shadows

We were taking a Christmas walk and had to capture the long winter shadows on Orkney sand.

Wow. Good picture. But also, eek, a peedie bit scary! Four stretched grey human shadows, with raised arms!

I noticed the comment about this being a Christmas walk.

December is nearly upon us again, and this picture, thankfully, shows that an Orkney December can have as beautiful a sky, and beach, and sea, and shadows, and, well, wonderfulness, as a June one!
