Glaitness cyclepath "gate" where there appears to have been "subsidence"? Impossible to negotiate through there in a wheelchair and I guess prams, pushchairs and bicycles would have the same problem. What on earth could have caused this deep subsidence?

I saw a few of these on Dunfermline tarmarct pathways. I think it's aliens trying to take over the World in their usual cunning way. It should be noted that the hole is placed in the optimum buggy/wchair prohibition position thus hindering movement of the World's most dangerous foes!
I mentioned it (in the pub) to the Councillor. He babbled and blethered about old mine shafts. (wife's uncorno, I never met a poltiician that I believed (since Jo Grimond anyway)
Sandy might well make a good living writing script for Julian Cleary ;o)
