The shop on the left hand corner of the building is my great-grandfather's, you can just about make out the sign John D Johnston above the door. The shop was passed on to my grandfather 'Johnny' Johnston and then to my father Harrison Johnston. It was still trading in the 1980's long after the hotel had closed and was at that time used as the Robertson's Fudge Factory.
