1st Kirkwall Company Boys Brigade Football Team

This picture was probably taken during the 1925/1926 session of the company.
The cup being played for, displayed in the centre, would almost certainly be "The Willie Watson Cup"
Regrettably the only names I can say with any certainty are as follows:-
Back row on the left is Alfred J Cromarty and in the centre is Hugh Inkster.
Middle row on the right is George Sinclair.
Front row on the right is Alfred Groundwater.

Please feel free to add any names to this photo.

I wonder if this Hugh Inkster is my Mum's cousin, the fiddler. He was the son of Hugh Inkster and Maggie Jessie Craigie, both of Rousay.

The J. Kemp is James Kemp who definitely was the Boys Ba winner of 1923. There was also a J. Kemp played in the Orkney Inter-county team of 1926.
