Hoy from East Mainland

On our way to Houton for a trip to Hoy. It was nice to see what a lovely day it was going to be. Really pleased to capture this picture as for the rest of the week, Hoy was shrouded in cloud.

Are you Stuart Flett that used to live in the village in Longhope a long time ago?

Oops. Sorry about that, Should have read West Mainland. (Either that or I have a very long lens and big pair of step ladders)

Sorry to disappoint but I am not from Longhope. I do descend from there though. My Great Grandfather was from Longhope. Was one of the crew that was involved in the rescue of SS Dinnington in 1906. Most of my family come from Flotta though, but I wouldnt be surprised if I am related to the Stuart Flett you refer to.
