Comments:
Earlier than 1970 I think. The Mk2 Consul looks in too good a condition for 1970. Any of the Vauxhall fans think that the car parked in front of the Consul may be a Cresta (possibly the two tone yellow and white one that belonged to D G Spence)?

I owned a Mk2 Consul in 1970 which was in pretty good nick, owned previously by Tullock's Garage and was used on some Netherbutton contract for some years.
Can't remember the Reg No, it was Dark blue body with light blue roof.

We used to have the contract to deliver the nightwatchman ( Mr. Mowat)to the BBC station at Netherbutton for 11.pm.each night. The car was driven by Jim Foubister aka "Owld Foobie" (a real character). One of the old school of "ale brewers" none of your tinned stuff for him. Maybe thats why I was "appointed" as substitute driver after passing my test. The linoleum floor of the Netherbutton station was cleaned every night. It was so highly polished you could almost see your face in it.
