Comments:
The building which was the showroom of St Clais emporium, came from Lyness after ww2. The building was the RAF Barrage Balloon Repair Shed from Ore brae. Harry Berry made a plaque for the building giving its history this was placed high on the gable end at the entrance, I wonder if anyone saw it during the demolition?

That is very interesting about the building coming over from Lyness Lewis. I knew Harry Berry but I never noticed the Plaque on the side of the Emporium building!I must have walked past it hundreds of times and never ever saw it !!!
