Oh dear, the arch from yesterday has not survived the night.

This dramatic picture is again from Ian Heddle's collection, and warns us to take our pictures of the Old Man of Hoy, The Gloup and the Vat of Kirbuster now while we have the chance...

Again, the date on this is purely a guess- it could be any year from the 50s to the 70s.

Must be after the mid 1960s as I sat there sketching the arch several times during 1963 to 1965 and it was intact then.

I think it can't have been before 1975. I have a similar photo

It says that the year was 1966 but im not sure.
