A picture taken from the Hatston slip, I do believe, looking south east towards the cathedral and Ayre Hotel in front of it. No boats ran today, surprise surprise, and no ferries to the mainland for the second day. And no planes. Or buses, Or schools open.
But lots of wind, averaging 45-50 knots in Kirkwall for most of the day, and you know all about it here when it is from the North.
