SHETLAND SKIFF

23 foot skiff I bought in 1968 from tankerness
last saw it in a secondhand shop on the back road a while back I wonder if anybody knows where it ended its days

just found out the Lasher K94 was wrecked on Rousay 1.12 1969 she was one of two Shetland skiffs built for Orkney and was powered by a 12hp morris car engine & gearbox possibly K93 was the other one

I see by the listing on pic No: 10471 Swift K93
belonged to a T Cooper in 1938 I wonder where he lived mainland or isles

Mike, Willie Buchan might know who he sold her to but it was a long time ago. I changed the deck to this layout, before the deck was flush across with two hatches, one forard of the engine and one aft Engine was a two cylinder Kelvin P/P

I think this skiff belonged to Arthur Burnett's daughter in Stromness for a time, probably bought it in 1972. Was sold to Stanley Wylie when he lived in Flotta and broken up at St Vincents pier (Flotta) during a storm? Wid that be inything lik right? Me memory is not too good nooadays
