Berstane Pier. Been a while since we went there to play as kids. Head of Holland in the background, with the mound of earth showing where they quarried sandstone for repairs at St Magnus Cathederal some years ago.

I it's Berstan Pier, i have many childhood memories when we used to go there swimming. Just a few of the swimmers names: Harry Rorie, Arthur Rorie, Wullie Rorie, Edward Borwick, John Bews, Mysely, and many more. Sorry to see it in that state, very sad indeed many happy memories.

Berstane, and I too used to swim there in the fifties. What a state now.
