I can't remember the details, a hydro cable was being laid from Orkney mainland to one of the isles, I think K469 was loading sacks filled with as yet unset mortar, divers would take these down and lay on the submerged cable .

I worked on that job down the hold mixing the drymix and filling the bags. i worked for Pat Sutherland at the time. Allan Smith (Plum) on the left of the three landing the bags. Long time ago:)
