The second night (Good Friday, 21/3/08) of the Mayfield Singers series of Tenebrae Readings for Easter. This consisted of six readings and six choral pieces, after each of which one of the lanterns on the floor was put out, until finally it was dark, as the building's lighting was switched off after Neil Price's introduction, pictured. Then once it was dark there was 2 minutes of silence, ended by a hellish clatter made by a BIG metal plate being dropped on the hard floor.
