A Tom Kent picture, date unknown.
I assume this picture is the neighbour of picture #907, suggesting that the well in that picture is the one at the back of the embankment beside Pickaquoy Road, opposite the Mills Filling Station. Anyone know if you can still get water from that well?

Don't know if you can still access that well but I used to collect water from it when I was a child [many moons ago!] for drinking water as it was far better than tap water.
