Wreck remains. Torness, Hoy

Willie writes:
'DORBIE, a Hull trawler, ran aground on Torness Point in a south easterly gale. Eight of her crew were rescued by Longhope Life-boat, the other three were washed ashore and saved by local fishermen. The vessel became a total wreck. This is anchor chain from this trawler ( I think) Note how it has ground its way into the rock. The boat was bought by local John Scott for 5 and the salvaged parts taken over the hill on the back of a Shetland pony.'
