Where was this, why was it Queen Street, and are any of the houses still there?

i think the houses in picture is the houses on the right hand side of the road as u reach orphir village from the kirkwall side. Ethel Sclater Hillcrest is the house on the left, ive been told. date?

2nd and 3rd houses from the right are not there any more, one of the buildings was a smithy. I was told it was called Queen Street because the occupants of the houses were all women.
