Earl Sigurd Propeller Blade

Sculptural!

Comments:
Been looking for something just like that to set in my garden! Can that be straightened and re-used on the ship?

That is the shape of the propellor blade. It is bent like its 3 identical companions. It is designed for a variable pitch propeller: Instead of changing direction the blades alter their pitch (to increase the pitch angle of the blades means to increase the thrust Ahead/Astern).

It's no supposed to be bent like that

That's a damaged blade, it should be straight like its three identical companions.
