Old Stromness Lifeboat

This pic was taken at a boatyard in North Wales by Donald N Macdonald and was sent to me by Jeff Morris. She is the ex Stromness L/Boat J.J.K.S.W. which was renamed " John Dee".
At the time the photo was taken the hull had been badly damaged, due to lifting her without a spreader bar, and I was told she may have been broken up.
Sad story for a boat that served the RNLI for 37 years.
