A police charity event held in the good old days, when Orkney was crime free, and the police had time for such events.

Kirkwall
That's my artwork (self-portrait!!??)and it took ages to do all the lettering with Letraset (no Desktop Publishing then, sadly). The Gala was great fun to organise - and we did most of the organising in our own time, cos I seem to recall the bobbies were busy even then!!
