The shop was where the Liberal's constituency office is on Broad Street now. The business is now located on Great Western Road, but does not employ painters.

No, I think it must be a bit after 1924. Bill Leslie (Sailor Bill) was still working in 1979. And I know he was fair bit younger than my grandfather, b. 1910.

Jim Leonard was a WW1 veteran, so the photo will be late 50's probably.

I would say not earlier than 1930. My cousin, Jim Harcus, would have been about ten or eleven in 1924 and he is clearly older than that in this photo.

think 3rd from the right is John William Wilson....Jim Wilson was his son (my granddad)

My grandfather was Geothe Gibson Corsie born in Rousay in 1906. Was he relaterade to Bob and Teddy shown in the picture? Hoping someone a answers me.

Regarding my post from July 28...my grandfather's name was George Gibson Corsie, not Geothe!
