I haven't a clue of the names apart from my farther in law Andy Wylie centre back row.
On the ball is written Thorfinn FC The B Team 1949-50

Back row on the left is Sandy Budge, besides Andy Wylie don't know any more names on back row although few faces look familiar. Front row from left - Zander Donaldson, George Stout, ??, Philip Stout, Robbie Pottinger.

Second right back row maybe ? Herdman not sure of first name lived in Thom street, third from right could be Plummy Johnstons father? Could the ball holder be Thorfin Keldie

Back row far right is my dad James McCarrick. His sister Jean married Gary Gibson. They still live in Kirkwall.
