I think I have a similar photo somewhere so i'll check, but at first glance looks like it's the cave at the back of tankerness. It lies about 1km south of rerwick at the south end of the small bay. It's not very easy to see from the land but is big enough to get a dinghy through (I've done this a couple of times). There is also a gloup a couple of hundred yards further south.

It is the Brough which lies right on the boundary of Ness and Cott Of Ness along the east coast in Deer Sound. It stands on 5 legs and all legs can't be seen at one time, I have passed under on my fathers boat "John Lennie, Nearhouse" many times.
