Unknown people, early/mid 60s

Marion writes about this picture:
'It was in an old album of mine alongside others taken in the early/mid 1960s. I don't know who these people are, apart from the one man in the background who used to be a teacher in Orkney. This group could be something to do with Young Farmers Organisation or the Drama Club Festival as I had the photo amongst others connected to both these. They could be Orcadian or people from a visiting group. Would be interesting to find out who the young lads are?'

Date is an estimate.

Comments:
The gentleman on the left is Dennis Grieve, a brother of Bert (ex Cosmo bouncer). To the right of him with the cap is Mr Macleod ex teacher at Kirkwall Grammar school, later went to Stromness. I think the gentleman with camera is Dennis Cole?

Dennis Grieve says that this is not him in the photo!

Well they say everyone has a double, I thought it was my uncle Dennis and even saved the photo!

Do you know, I looked at the gentleman with the camara and thought he was a Cole right away. If that is the case then he is the double of his Uncle Harold, also you can tell he is a brother to Roy.

Yes the gent with the cap is Iain McLeod a teacher at KGS and live two doors away from us. My father Bert Finlayson last met up with Iain about 1970. At that time he was living in Dornoch

I’m Roy Cole’s daughter. Dennis Cole was my dad’s brother. This definitely isn’t Dennis Cole in the photo either.
