Junior Inter County Football Team

This picture was missing from the Junior Inter County 60th Anniversary photo exhibition at Picky earlier this year.

This was the first year that individual trophies were presented for each of the five sports. The photo was taken at Seafield in Lerwick and the team that stole a 0-0 draw was:

Back: Ian Sinclair, Lawrence Laughton, Rae Slater, Norman Craigie, Melvin Johnston and Jim Linklater.
Front: Maurice Walls, Robbie Oag, Kenny Burns, Eddie Seattor and Jim Donaldson.

Sadly, Maurice, Kenny and Jim Dook are no longer with us.

Eddie and myself obviously weren't allowed to leave Orkney without a haircut. I've still not forgiven my mother!!
