Rooftop greenery

More rooftop greenery. It sort of grows on you.
O.E.D gives ROOF-TREE as "the ridge piece of a roof". Near enough! This series has certainly made us look up.
Photographed today - 54 Clay Loan.

Comments:
Interesting happening. A roof tree is a pole or timber where the rafters are fixed on to! There must be another name for this green "stuff". Is it really a tree? Is it anywhere where else or just in Orkney? Keep the chin up! There must be an answer to why this is happening! Da! Da! Da! Da!
