Kirkwall from Wideford Hill August 2007

I had taken this picture a few days before picture #4194 was submitted by Alan. It is a pity I had not been looking further over towards the pier so that the 2 pictures could have been compared. No matter. This one shows some of the recent buildings added to Kikrwall, such as Picky Centre, Powerbowl, new Police Station to name a few.
