1st Kirkwall Coy. Boys Brigade Camp at Orphir.

This is a copy of a postcard picture by the well known Orphir photographer J.Omond,and the date is a complete guess.
It shows the "palliasses"(that's an owld word) being filled with straw for the camp beds.I just hope for their sakes that it had been a long hot/dry summer.
This is the oldest example of an Orkney B.B.camp I have seen,but I guess there must be some photos out there equally as old. (A small challenge for the "Archives Dept")
Can anyone come up with a more accurate date?
