Aye, I mind that smell fine. I worked there 1954 - 1962. Other smells were: Turpentine, coir rope, Karswood poultry spice, bran, Scott's Fish Shop on a hot day, sulphur candles, methylated spirits, and always the super smell from the bakehouse.
