Juniata

Stern view of the JUNIATA, not a very clear picture but nevertheless a picture. Thanks to Tony Hall for allowing me to use his picture.

Comments:
I purchased a photo album at auction years ago. It has many pictures of the Juniata. It acutally appears that the album belongs to the captain of the ship in 1910, due to his uniform. He is in many pictures on and off the ship. There are many pictures of other ships, some you can read the names, other cannot. Many sail ships, steam/sail, yachts, ect. A few good ones of the Emma Giles.

There are many other pictures of where the family traveled. A few of the White House with still dirt roads. One picture of the firehouse at Harpers Ferry when it was still in bad shape. Sold older pictures. Even one of someone in a confederate uniform. I assume they are all silver nitrates. Some have wear or that effect where the silver shows. Some tin-types.
I'm trying to find out who the captain was in 1910 and a picture of him to see if I can match it to the ones I have, so I will know who the family was.
