The far appliance is a Dodge Water tender ladder at Kll from 1982 - 2004. The Nearer is a Mercedes water tender ladder at Kll 1991 - 2004.

The Fire station was built on the site of the first Royal British Legion Social Club, which had previously been the first Kirkwall & St. Ola Community Centre, which had been a WW2 Toc H building.

Does anyone know when the fire station was built? And, for that matter, when the Legion Club opened on Junction Road?

The Royal British Legion Club opened in Junction Road in 1967. The old one, on the site of the Fire Station opened in 1962.
