One time, a gateway to Orkney!

Burwick Pier, South Ronaldsay, which used to be used by the short sea crossing to John o'Groats.
I remember being on the Souters Lass( I think the boat was called} a few times using this pier, when it used be be a wooden walkway.

Comments:
I have vague recollections of the pier in 1978 when we visited Orkney for the first time, the ferry was Souters Lass.
