[James, I'm assuming this is yours- do you have a caption for it?

It's the Orkney trawler Guardian Angell (left) trying to tow the Hull trawler Lancella after she ran aground just off Kirkwall Pier in front of the Mount. She was only aground for a short while before she came off when the tide turned, it was low tide and she came in a bit too close to the shore. I think this is one of my pictures which I took in 1995.

I think it's the Guardian Angel attempting to pull a Hull registered trawler possibly the Marnatha??.
If I remember correctly the Kirkwall Bay pulled her off eventually.

Sorry James, I was thinking you were on the Guardian Angell at the time and I had given you a copy but you would have been on the Arkh Angell now that I think of it. You must have been standing next to me when I took it or pretty close because its the same as the one which I took which was on the front page of the Fishing News, thats what made me think it was one of mine.
